In response to the killing of 13-year-old Adam Toledo by Chicago PD officer Eric Stillman, protesters gathered at Barclays Center.

“Police were pushing us onto streets with little light and virtually no witnesses, so they could brutalize us and arrest us in the dark.”

The group started marching east along Atlantic Avenue. A few minutes in, a swarm of over 100 SRG officers, led by SRG Captain Julio Delgado, arrested a few protesters. SRG bikers then repeatedly attempted to kettle the march as it snaked through residential streets of Crown Heights. More arrests were made.

The army of SRG continued to follow the march, which ended up heading east along Eastern Parkway in the search for a safe dispersal point. The LRAD continued to be played, even after protesters had made their way onto the sidewalk. Six arrests were made total. The next morning, a press conference was called demanding Captain Delgado be fired from the NYPD. A few days later, Delgado once again led a brutal attack on protesters. He has not been seen since — it is believed he has been placed on desk duty.
